So I am knee deep in books as I work to establish a non-profit organization for women (more on that later). While I can’t say specifically what our purpose is, I can tell you that the video below encouraged me to keep pressin.

[to have and to hold and...]

Today two different people told me that I was beautiful. I was rockin a scarf on my head, and a moo moo on my person. For a half a minute I thought about calling them on their foolishness till I remembered something about the truth. I had in the hours before asked him to fill me with the Holy Spirit like never before. I had spent the morning searching the scriptures, talking to Him, and most importantly, listening…

Apparently I saved this as a draft on 09/25/09 and never finished it.

This weekend I had the pleasure of hosting a group of amazing women. We talked, laughed, and cried. It was much more than I had expected. There was a genuine bond between the women and the we could feel God working in us and through us. I don’t believe any of us left the same as we came. It was beautiful; the icing on the cake for me was reuniting with my best friend. With so many years between us, I didn’t know what to expect. But the moment she entered my home, I knew that she was what I had been missing all of these years. I know that God loves me, him bringing us back together is just another wonderful, demonstration of his love for me.
